350+ Supporters Join City Councillor Stephen Dasko For Official Launch of Campaign

Mississauga, ON: The flags, visible from the QEW at Hurontario, are waving atop the old OPP office at 49 South Service Road. On Saturday morning, more than 350 people crammed into the building which is now Dasko Campaign Headquarters. They lined-up outside to join in the official launch of Mississauga Ward 1 City Councillor Stephen Dasko’s campaign for the office of mayor of Mississauga.

Councillor Dasko, a lifelong resident and passionate advocate for the city of Mississauga has witnessed decades of change in the city. Dasko said: “During the past six years on Council, I’ve learned how the City works and how it could be better; how it could be more efficient in spending money and both more efficient and effective in its business practices with residents.” He continued to roaring applause, “As your Mayor, I’m prepared to make the difficult decisions. I’ll negotiate with other levels of government in the best interests of our city. Mississauga has the ingredients for greatness. I want to take us to soar at new heights.”

He emphasized the Five Pillars of his Campaign: Affordability, an Accessible City, a Livable City, a Safe City and a Smart Growing City.

The by-eIection is on Monday, June 10th.
